A beast that cannot be brought down.
The story follows the son of a high-ranking general, a sadistic young man with an extremely privileged lifestyle whose sick mind, together with a failed system, ultimately gives birth to a terrifying monster who feeds his sadism and desires with heinous crimes against families and children. A beast that cannot be brought down.
If Sardine in Yangon asks a terrifying question: if such a fish exists in Yangon, are the people truly powerless against it? And if its power never came from the people, how does the fish survive? A fish that never belonged in Yangon.
Set against the unstable political situation in Myanmar, where power decides what counts as justice, this is a story about privilege, fear, and what happens when the law belongs to the people who break it.
